Southern Cross Advanced Driving is the home of safe and low risk driving from Ipswich and surrounding suburbs to Coominya, out to Plainland and all towns in between. More than just a driving school catering for learner drivers and riders. We also have courses in low risk driving, performance driving, 4WD and motorcycle riding.

We are passionate about road safety and want to share that passion with you, our drivers.  Not just for your own safety, but for the safety of others too. Some driving schools will have defensive driving as an additional component, at Southern Cross Advanced Driving, it is all part of our learner driver training package. Already have your P plates? That’s fine, we have low risk driving courses for you to, in fact for any driver or rider.

When you get behind the wheel for the first time, the majority of your concentration will be focussed on controlling the vehicle, leaving you vulnerable to the other motorists around you. By the time you gain your P1 provisional licence you will be able to concentrate on your surroundings while driving the vehicle will be second nature. You see, we don’t just teach you how to pass your driving test and we don’t just teach you how to operate the vehicle.  At Southern Cross Advanced Driving, we are committed to ensure our trained drivers will not only learn to drive, but also learn to survive, now and in the future.
